The Heavier Than Heaven : A Biography of Jimi Hendrix is a biography. The reason I selected this book because I really like to playing or listening music espeacially rock music, and Jimi Hendrix is the king of rock for me.
The story takes place in Seattle, Washington in 1942 - 1970. The most important of this story was Jimi Hendrix who has called the king of rock and roll for many people.
The story is about Jimi Hendrix life since he had born untill he died. Guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Jimi Hendrix was born in November 27, 1942, in Seattle, Washington. Learning to play guitar as a teenager, Hendrix grew up to become a rock guitar legend. He began his career by playing in a number of bands in his youth. Hendrix later enlisted in the United States Army in 1961 and became as a paratrooper. Even as a soldier, Hendrix found time for music, creating a band named The King Casuals. He served in the army until 1965 when he was discharged because of an injury.After leaving the military, Hendrix pursued his music, working as a session musician and playing backup for such performers as Little Richard, Sam Cooke, and the Isley Brothers. He also formed a group of his own called Jimmy James and the Blue Flames, which played gigs around New York City’s Greenwich Village neighborhood. In mid-1966, Hendrix met Chas Chandler, a former member of the Animals, a successful rock group, who became his manager. Chandler convinced Hendrix to go to London where he joined forces with musicians Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell to create The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
The story ended sadly. I think Hendrix did many good music and he still be an idol for many rocker. Hendrix died on September 18, 1970, from drug-related complications. While this talented recording artist was only 27 at the time of his passing, Hendrix left his mark on the world of rock music and remains popular to this day.
The person that I like the most is Jimi Hendrix. He was the king of rock for many people before I was born ,and firs time when I listened to his music I thought he is the king of rock too.
I like this story because it is about my idol life, and I think this is a good book because it is a real life. I think people are not going to be happy entire of their life, so if we do our best before we die other people still recollect us for long time.

Journal for Voice
Today is the first day of this semester. I have to study again and again, and my speaking skill still not improve.
so today we was studing about how to speak high and low pitch. It was weird for me because I am not get used to it.
But It may be good though.
Today we have to find a Poem becasue it is our final exam. We have to read it in correctly way. We have to pronouce ever word also. I will try to speak slowly and clearly. The teacher gave us an appointment for private lesson also. My private lesson is next week.
Today we played game about how to write the word in IPA. My team was lost but it was okay. It was so difficult.
But it was good for us to know how to say many word in correctly way.And we have to take an IPA exam next week. I am afraid about it.
Today was my first appointment and it was so bad. I spent 20 minute for just one word. " CASE " was that word because we have mix two sound together. I have to practice that word alot. I hope I can do it soon.
Today I ask my US friend that when I speak it sounds like a monotone? and he say yes a little bit. Maybe am not used to it. My teacher said Asain people use to speak flat tone or in the same tone. In English we have to speak up and down . Like when we sing a song.
Today the teacher touch us to speak every word. We have to speak lounder and slowly and clearly. Like an insane people. He said it helps a lot then OK I will try.
My problem is TH sound because my toung is very strong so it gonna be difficult for me. like the word "This That "
and The performence is coming I have to practice. and speak slowly and make up and down when I speak with people.
My Voice and Articulate is the third class in a day. I am always hungry and feel sleepy all the time. Sometimes the teacher let us lay down on the floor and take a deep breath. That time I can take a nap also. Sometimes I hear my Thai friend snore beside me. The teache likes to turn on music when we lay down and take a deep breath. The music makes us easy to feel sleep. It is good for Kay and me to sleep.
Today I had an appointment with teacher again. this time I can say "CASE" but still have another problem. TH sound was my problem.It was so weird to move my toungh out of my mouth. but I have to at first I thought it was the same like D sound but it different.

There are two reasons why I don't like Hip-Hop music. First, almost of Hip-Hip singers are always complain about everything and they think they are right about everthing too. For example, They like to blame about love, about their life or about socaility, and I don't really know why they like to talk about it again and again. Book report
Angle and Demon is science fiction. The reason that I select this book because I like the story about this book.
This story takes place in Vatican city. Robert Langdon is a professor in the United States of America who have to help Sophia find the murderer who killed her father.
The story is about sophia's father who is one of the groups that know the secret of god were killed by someone. At first the police of Vatican thought the murderer is robert langdon because langdon had an appointment with sophia's father before he was dead. That why langdon have come through this story. Ha has to proof himself innocent and he has to help sophia also.
The end of this story is positive. Langdon can catch the organization of the killer. He solves that Vatican is the killer and the reason why they do that because they want to keep the secret forever. They want to slay everyone who knows this secret.
The title relate to this story because even Vatican priest who such a person that many people think they are angle still do like a demon also. They hide themselves by praying but they still kill many people for the thing that they believed.
My favorite character is robert langdon he is very smart he cans use every clue to solve many problem. The least favorite character for me is captain Bazu Fazt who is the Vatican police who want to arrest langdon because he believes that langdon is the killer. I like the way story ended because I don't want the innocent langdon arrested. In my opinion, I really like this story. It gives me many information about art history that langdon have to use to find the killer. This story answer me every question about art history . Power is a thing that every human is desperate for. Power to control the economy or power of the government are very important. Adolf Hitler had much power to lead his army. He had power to do better things for this world, or his country. Not everybody could do that. If I could do anything in the world I would control human life.
One reason that I would control human life is because I want to built the better world. First of all, I want to help farmers from their poor life. They work very hard, but they get less salary. Moreover, I want to stop the war. Many people die during the war. Therefore, if I can control human life I will make peace all around the world, no more poor people and no more war and people would not die in wars anymore.
Another reason is I want to fight against injustice. For example, I will punish drug dealers in this world. They are the beginners of the drug chain and I will stop drug addicts by put them in jail without any drug to clean them from drug forever. Moreover, I will kill all of the criminals in this world. Sometimes they kill people just for their business. Sometimes they kill people just for fun. Furthermore, I will arrest bad politicians and take them to jail. Some country supposes to develop more than nowadays, but because of some government or senier that they do corruption and the way they do it exactly destroy their country.
However, the most important reason why I would control human life because I want to protect many things and many lives. For example, I can protect many good people who did many good things to this world. Moreover, I can protect the world enviroment.Today many contries have less forest than the past. Some people they cut the wood to make a gun.

The teacher always teach us with many material. Sometimes he uses piano. Sometimes he uses CD audio. Sometimes he uses the Internet. I think it helps many student to understand about the the class. For me I would like to study with the Internet because it has a picture also.
today I could take a deep breath until 20 count. At first I couldn't do that. I think it is because I do in class every week. It's may improve my chest. Maybe my chest is bigger than before. Not every time I could do that some times I counted too fast or sometimes I took a deep breath too fast.
I always wordier that almost of my Thai friends they speech English with Thai accent. Americans still understand them.Even the teacher told us to pronounce every vowel. The most of people doesn't do that. They still understand each other. Maybe they just get usual to speak and listen in that way.
I want to speak faster and more clearly. My friend who from Pakistant and live in US for 5 years told me something. He said I can't speak like people who was born here. He said I just can translate the language faster and speak more clear. I have to speak with Americans more and more everyday. It wll help me in the future.
I feel very good to study in Voice and Articulate class. The teacher teachs me at the begining to speak clearly. Sometimes the student just look over the small impotant thing. We are not Americans we don't have an accent like Americans. That why we have to learn at the begining.

Today the teacher leaded us to see an Art picture. He let's us look at the picture and asked us which picture did you like the most. When he asked me I tried to explain to him. He stop me because he told me I speaking too fast. He said when I speaking fast I always forget pronounce the last vowel. I have to speak slower that before.

Today we learned about how to pronounce lTl sound. It was a little bit difficult to me.
and we learned anothe sound also. I was wonder when Americans speak they pronounce every sound or not. Sometimes they speak very fast and how can they pronounce every sound. The teacher told us that we have to pronounce every sound. I was a little bit confuse.
Today we learned about how to take a deep breath again. Sometime I feel hurt at my chest. Maybe it because I am a smoker, but the teacher is a smoker also. Dala, sometimes she feels hurt also and I am worry about her. She has some problem about her stomach. I asked her and she said she fine. Maybe it because we are not usual with this lesson.
Dala and I always help each other to finish the voice homework. Sometimes she couldn't understand how to do homework, and I was not sure either. My name is Watcharapong and I have to study in the voice and Articulate class. I never study like this before because the teacher teach us at the bigining about how to pronouce a word. Sometimes I feel emberessing, but later I realize that everybody do the same mistake. We have the diferrent problem. For example, Asian students have different problem from Spanish students. Finally, we don't feel shy or emberres anymore.
My friend name Jiro. He has been live here for 30 years. He came from Vietnam. He told me about how to speak English easier. He told me that many Asian students feel shy when speak English. Sometimes they afraid to speak in wrong gramatical. He said American people doesn't care much in gramatical just speak and can understand each other that be fine.
Last Friday I just took TOFEL exam. It was a nightmare. Espacially, speaking part it was very difficult. It had 5 questions and all of it are so difficult, but I could understand 4 of them. The last one is very difficult. I didn't know what the question talked about. I could understand some but the most of the time I couldn't. It is because I don't know many of vocabulary.
My Voice and Articulate is the third class in a day. I am always hungry and feel sleepy all the time. Sometimes the teacher let us lay down on the floor and take a deep breath. That time I can take a nap also. Sometimes I hear my Thai friend snore beside me. The teache likes to turn on music when we lay down and take a deep breath. The music makes us easy to feel sleep. It is good for Kay and me to sleep.
Today I went to Mcdonald to eat something. I order to the cashier who form Mexico. She could understand me, but I couldn't understand her. She speak English very hard to understand. Maybe I am not get usual to listen Mexicans speak English. Why American people can understand them?
I always make a mistake when I say " can" or "can't". The sound is almost the same. Even Americans sometimes make a mistake also. I realize that I am better say " can not" be cause it easier to understand than "can't". Even I have to speak to word, but it helps me to make it easier. I don't want to do thing complicate.

Who Do I Miss The Most
The person that I miss the most is mom. My mom always cook for me every day. When I was in Bangkok I didn't really feel that my mom looks old, but when I have been here I can feel that my mom old. She is such a woman that easy to get angry. However, she is the one that I love the most. I really miss her so much
Example when lying is not bad
Lying is not bad all of the time. Sometime the docter have to lie to a patient if it maked they get better. Moreover, some people lie to their friends or their lover just because they want to make their frimeds or lovers feel better. In addition, I am lie to my mom sometime just because a little things that it is not a big problem for me, but it is for my mom. For some reason, some soldier have to lie to their enemy in the war to protect their country. Lying is not bad at all it is depend what you have to lie for.

When I hear the Cristmast song I can remember several things. First, I can imagine about all of my family have dinner together. Second, I can remember that my friends or my mom gives a gift for me. There are many ways to be a succeed student. First, you have to be a good student and you have to concentrate in class. For example, do not talking in class while a teacher teaching. I plan to study in master of music. I like to play guitar very much. If I can finish master degree here in major of music I might teaching guitar in a school. My hometown is Bangkok. It is a capital city of Thailand. It is very nice because it has many of beautiful place. Unfortunelly, it has too many cars. Fortunelly, it has a river and you can go to many place by a boat. It still has a train and subway, so you don't need to drive or bus. It also has The Water Festival. It is really fun.

I will never forget a big surprise. It was my birthday last year. At first, I thought it was a really bad day because the traffic was really bad and it was raining all the day. When I got to my house it was still pouring rain. I came back from studing and the light was tured off. Then I decided to turen it on as usual. I felt really bad and I felt really tired also. I wanted take a shower and rest. After that, I was really surprised I saw a birthday cake with 23 sticks of candles on the table. I forget that day was my birthday. I thought everybody had forgottento remember my birthday. I saw my mom, my brother and my friends in my house and they yelled around at me " Happy Birthday ". In conclusion, I will never forget a big surprise in my birthday last year. I learned that we never stand alone in the world. Even when we have the hardest day we still have a family and friends.

When I was 12 years old he was teach me to play Judo. Nowaday, he works in the computer company in Thailand, and sometimes I miss him very much.
The Place I Love to Visit
The place that I love to visit is Chaing-Mai. First of all, Chaing-Mai has a lot of sight-seeing place. Almost of it is about a history of this town. Moreover, Chaing-Mai has many mountains and I can wake up early to take a fresh breath in a morning. In addition, an accomodation is very cheap. I can rent a hotel just only 10 dollars per night. Finally, Chaing-Mai is a quiet town even in the downtown people there still has a simply lifestyle.
My Best Friend
Assud is the name of my roommate. He come from Pakistan but he was born here and he still leaving here. He has a black long hairs and he has a big muscle, also. He is the same age as I am and he is taller than me, too. He is studying in master degree in computer science. I am always asked him when I don’t understand about English language or if I don’t understand about a commons here. He is a Muslim and every time I was cooking he always asked me the same question as I answered the same answer. His question is "What is that?" and my answer is "It is not pork". He is a funny guy and he proud with his big muscles, too.

Playing guitar is my hobby. I really like to play a guitar when I have a free time. My guitar has a black color. It is an acoustic guitar. I like to hear a sound of a string of my guitar. My Terrible Time
In my opinion, almost of all the children afraid this time. It’s happen when I was young in my high school. I was not a good student and I was always absent classes. Then, at the end of the semester, my teacher asks me to brought my parent to school and I don’t want to do that. After that, I talked this problem to my friends who has the same problem they don’t want to brought their parents, too. Then, we’re decided to pay some of money to a taxi-driver and ask him to pretend to be our parent, but they reject for that. How to Read Fast and Safety
This is one of the ways to improve your reading skill. First, you have to spend a time for interview. Use 30 second minute to read a title of the story and first sentence each of paragraph and a conclusion of paragraph. Second start read a story, be sure you read in thought group. Reading in thought group will help your eyes. Be carefully, when you see a new vocabulary do not find it in your dictionary right now. Try to guess that word first. Then try to find a main idea of the story. Finally, when you are finished your book or story. Let’s find a new word that you don’t know. Remember this is there is many way to improve your reading, but this way can help your concentrate. It is can help your eyes too.

We can Write a Good Paragraph
How to write a good paragraph. Some people said it was easy. Some people said it was difficult.
First, before you write a paragraph. You should to write a brain-storm.
It can make you have enough for your idea.
Second, you must have a topic for paragraph. And the topic must be bigger enough. But not bigger too much. A topic should be one sentence and about your paragraph.
Third, you must have a supporting sentence. A supporting sentence using for support your topic. At least three support sentence. Supporting sentence also using for narrow a reader.
Last, you must have a conclusion sentence. Carefully every part of your paragraph has to connect each other. You must be sure your topic bigger enough. And your supporting sentence support your.

When I am hungry and poor I am always eat instant noodle. It is very cheap and easy to cook, also quickly. It is my favorite recipe.

Then, prepare your kitchen. You have to heat water. When the water is already heat. Put some beef or meat. Wait until it already cooks.
After that, put a vegetable. It is good for your health. Because somebody told me instant noodle is not good for my health. Then I solve the problem by a vegetable.
Then, put an egg. This process is depending to you. If you like row egg do not wait until an egg already cook. Carefully you may food poison. I suggest you to wait until an egg is already cook. Even row egg is more delicious.

Tom-Yum-Kung. This food is very popular in Thailand. It’s very delicious and spicy taste. A lot of shrimp, spicy and sour taste will make you feel good.
Som-Tum, or papaya-pok-pok is popular in Thailand too. It is also spicy and sour taste. We eat Som-Tum with rice, and some of vegetable. In Som-Tum we have Papaya, Tomato, and Cramp. Now I am so hungry.

My Favorite Pet
My favorite pet is turtle. It’s great a little bit turtle and smart. Even it does not run fast like a dog, or can’t jump from high like a cat. But it has a good thing.
A turtle is too small. I don’t need a big place for it. Sometime I took it and put it on my stomach or my body. Am sure I will not lose it. Because it’s very slow.
A food for turtle is cheap. I don’t need to pay too much for a turtle food.
Surely it doesn’t eat too much. Because it’s small.

In snowing here. I saw a snow, But somebody told me, It's Light-Mix. I don't know about that. I don't care that too. Snow, Sleet, Light-mix. I liked it that okay.
In snowing here. I don't need to pay for electric amount. Because I can sleep with two jacket. It's still warm
In Snowing here. I took a shower only one time each day [-_ -"]. Surely I can save my waters too.
You don't need to pay more money for electric amount. You don't need to take a shower often. Snowing is great. That is my reason. Why I like snowing.

Things you like to do on weekend
I surely every student waiting for a weekend, Include I am too. I am always waiting for saturday and sunday every week . In Saturday I am alway go to a studio and play music with my friend. In Sunday I like to stay at home and spend a lot of time for playing computer game , sleep , or watching T.V.
Sometime when the school was close in long term. I like to go outside far from a city. Actually I like to go to the beach in summer with my friend. However in spring I like to go to a mountain too.
But sometime I just want to go to everywhere in Bangkok by a bus. And looking for a park for reading a book. Before I come to Texas my last trip in Thailand is go to Chieng-Mai the north of Thailand . It is cool .

Tip for staying healthy
Surely, everybody on this world wants to be a person who have a good health. But it is really hard to takecare every part of your body, Actually that is nobody perfect. But you can takecare your health, as more as you can.
There is many way to do that, always do an exercise, sleeping enough, or alway eating a healthy food.
Keep doing an exercise is one of the way to staying good healthy. You should do an exercise 30 minutes each day. That will be good for your health, or your heart.
Sleep enough is the other way to get a good health. The people should to sleep about 6-8 hours each night.
Eat a healthy food, Fruit and vegetable is good for your health, However you should to eat beef too.

Who am I
Hello, my name is Watcharapong i know this a long name, Some of friend call me "Oat" this is thai nickname. I am was born at Bangkok, Thailand in 1983 . I have one older brother. I am graduate from Ramkamhang University my major is Political science. In 12 jan 2007 I come to Texas for study in an English program at ELI. I hope to study in Master degree in United state .
My hobbies is play guitar, play computer game, and sometime play sport. I love to play guitar. When am was young I want to be a Rock star but now I don't think like that am just play it because I like music. I use to play computer game but now I have no time I have to do everything by myself .
